Presentation:
Litigation Readiness
Friday, August 8th --
3:10-5:05p
The maxim “practice
makes perfect” seldom applies when preparing a case for trial. In
fact, practice can be a repeated rehearsal of failure unless objective
feedback is included. This session examines a variety of techniques
and scientific principles used by trial consultants to help trial
teams to turn “practice sessions” into “preparation sessions.” These
techniques help lawyers to “look around corners” and see the
unexpected and unanticipated. |
 |
When combined with sensitive
information from professional investigators, these preparation sessions not
only help decrease the unpredictable aspects of a jury trial, but provide
strategic and tactical information that allows counsel to move the case
forward with an emboldened inner strength and confident assuredness.
